Living Fences

The images on this page were all taken in the summers of 2021 and 2022, at various logging locations around Drayton Valley, Alberta. The ~1200 sheep were circuit grazed on the cutblocks, to manage primary succession species of grass, bushes, and other plants that would outcompete planted forestry saplings for sunlight and space.
